Our stay at The Saffron House was an absolute delight! The villa impressed us from the get-go, offering stunning ocean views, a charming pool, and a cozy veranda perfect for unwinding. The room was spacious, and the outdoor shower amidst nature with curious monkeys was a delightful touch! The manager, Chris, and her team were incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel right at home - like a summer holiday at grandma's.Chris's home-cooked meals were a highlight, showcasing her passion for traditional Sri Lankan cuisine. The spring rolls and curry dinner were mouthwatering, not to mention the special birthday celebration they arranged for my husband with balloons and a delicious cake - truly unforgettable! We even indulged in a relaxing massage organized by Chris, who was always ready to assist with anything we needed.The convenient tuk-tuk service provided made exploring the nearby beaches a breeze, offering a nice touch to our adventure. It's hard to put into words the comfort and joy we felt during our stay; it's a place we're already planning to revisit soon. The Saffron House exudes warmth and hospitality, creating a memorable experience filled with scenic views, delectable meals, and genuine care from Chris and her team. It's a gem that resonates with the soul and beckons you to return time and time again.
